Human rights and freedoms, along with the questions of organization and structure of the state power is the main subject of the majority of modern constitutions regulation. Technological devices may also oppose to and have a huge impact on human rights and freedoms.

Individual Privacy,” shows how modern technology can be developed in the hands of the police. Wendy Kaminer (2014) in her article “Trading Liberty for Illusions”tries to show the liberty of people which can only fear people. These two articles will be compared and contrasted in the present paper. The article tells its readers how modern technology can affect human rights and freedoms. This device is really a great finding for police workers, but its usefulness for the society, human rights and freedom may be argued.

It is safe to say that this and other similar devices significantly limit and undermine human rights. Everyone has a right for liberty and security. No one shall be deprived of their liberty except the cases that are established by law and meet all the standards. Since the rights and obligations are implemented in the society that often requires cooperation of the people, this circumstance leads to the inevitability of certain restrictions on rights and freedoms. Limitation dictates, first of all, the need to respect the rights and freedoms of others, as well as the need to respect the proper functioning of the society and the state. However, any restrictions are permissible to the extent to which they are presented in the Constitution. In the article by Thomas Colbridge (2001), "Kyllo v. United States: Technology v. Individual Privacy" there is a story of a person becoming a victim of technological device. This example shows the situation in which the use of devices is legal but it makes a person forget about their rights and freedom.

This article discusses the disaster of September 11, 2001 in America, which was a real psychological disaster for the entire country. People have understood that their liberty significantly depends on the political situation of the country they live in.

The product of political activity has a great value. It estimates social stability, level of welfare, culture, health, crime, and the scale of production. The measure of police success is the willingness of the population, executive and representative bodies to pay for it all kinds of resources until being ready to defend it. The mental state of a person is very vulnerable to the impact of policies and political events and actions. This is explained by the fact that the normal human psyche is "open," which causes mental states and perceives them as an objective reflection of reality. Colbridge (2001) and Kaminer (2014) note that the person and their rights should me much more protected in the society. It should be necessary for the police to take into account the wishes of people, for example “the public availability of technology used” (Colbridge, 2001, p. 380). It is also necessary for every person to feel freedom from the politics, because if there are some political problems in the country or between countries, there are also doings that have an impact on the citizens.
